The IPPFoRB Academy is a unique and interactive residential training course for parliamentarians providing capacity building in the field of freedom of religion of belief.

The training provides input from leading experts including academics, lawyers and practitioners that guide and widen the freedom of religion or belief knowledge base of parliamentarians involved with the help of tailored-made courses, case studies and in-depth discussions. The aim is to equip parliamentarians with the technical knowledge and practical skills to be advocates for freedom of religion or belief in their own context.

Drawing on leading experts and high level guest speakers, the courses are tailored to meet the learning and developmental needs of parliamentarians. The courses consist of formal lectures as well as more relaxed one-to-one tutorials and small group work. In addition to learning from leading international experts, participants also benefit from an excellent opportunity to network and learn from fellow peers and to share experiences and best practice.

This course runs once a year. In the past, the Academy has been held in the university town of Oxford, England but can be organised in any location around the world. Register your interest to join one of our training courses or to discuss your own learning needs.

The IPPFoRB Academy is held in English, so fluency in the language is required of all participants.
